My Cellphone Has a Blog

OK this should be the last new post aimed at pointing you all to other websites.

I recently got a new cellphone and I've been super excited about it. It's probably the first phone I've gotten that really has a lot of features rolled into it that I'll never use (i.e. MP3 player, FM radio, email client, still/video camera). I actually got it because my previous phone wasn't holding a charge all that well (at least that's my story), and I was able to get a great corporate discount. Did I mention that it is cool looking also?

Anyway, when I got it last month, I thought that I could put the utterly useless camera to work by capturing pictures of random things and then posting them to a blog for your reading and viewing pleasure. Blogger has this neat Mobile Blog utility. You take a photo with your phone, email it to blogger, they create a blog for your phone, and then you keep adding to it. It sounded like fun and a good way for Cingular to squeeze some more money out of me in the form of charges for MMS messages. I had one hiccup along the way ... I laundered my new phone :( Yes, that's right. Wash. Spin. Rinse. Spin Again. It was all very traumatizing.

Now I have a replacement and my phone and I are up and running. I'm not sure how well I'll do keeping this new blog up to date (we have a hard enough tie managing this one), and I'm not sure that I'll be able to capture enough images of random and/or funny things. At the very least, this blog will display pictures of things we did on days when we didn't actually have a real camera. The latest post is for one of those days. Well, let me know what you think.
