Each year we attend the Asian and Pacific American Bar Association Dinner. The dinner honors Minoru Yasui, an attorney known for defending the rights of Japanese Americans placed in internment camps during World War II and later for his community service in the Denver Area. Each year the dinner includes entertainment in the form of cultural singing or dancing. This year, they held a fashion show featuring traditional attire of different Asian and Pacific cultures. Marielle participated and got to wear her hanbok which is a traditional Korean Dress.
