Holy crap my car has been a total disaster! While Harper napped, Ellie and I managed to pull two small trash bags of stuff and half a recycling bin of empty Sobe bottles and Arizona Iced Teas out of my car. This stuff has been piling up for quite some time. It's nice to be able to offer up my car again when I go to lunch with coworkers.

Ah....birds of a feather. I (we) ended up buying a new car and PC joked that if I just emptied my car out before I wouldn't have needed it. Alas, now that I have a nice new *clean* car I have renewed commitment to keep it clean, but I know that old habits die hard and I give it a month before the crap starts to pile up.
Id also like to know what happened to what appears to have once been a floormat? Are you sure you didn't have any creatures among the rubble that gnawed on it?
Ah, I was wondering if someone would notice that. I deliberately put it up front although now I don't recall why I thought the worn out floormat was picture-worthy.
No, animals are not to blame. It's just a cheap floormat from Target. I bought them because they looked like the durable all rubber, all weather floormats we have in the Forester, alas, they only look like those. I thought that all rubber would be good because I wouldn't have to worry about the material getting all dingy. At this point I'd take dingy material over non-existent rubber.
