I said to him, "Funny that it's early on Father's Day and the only ones up are the fathers. Maybe we should have slept in."
It was actually a lot of fun. He put on a coffee, and then we just
hung out a bit until Mom and the other stragglers rolled in. Later that morning, Marrielle and I donned my first Father's Day gift which was a pair of t-shirts that identified us as the father-daughter pair that we are. Later, when we returned home, Sophie gave me her Father's Day gift. Apparently, when she lays around the garage, watching me work on things, she's come to realize that I could use a helping hand. She got me a little set of tools so that I can employ my daughter's skills. I missed capturing her first pose where she had one hand up on her hip resting on the tool belt, but you can see she seems to know what she's doing. Lastly, Vivian surprised me with tickets to see Brian Regan at the Paramount. Brian Regan is one of Viv and my favorite comics.
We've seen hime twice already, and I'm super excited to see him again. He always seems to have some new material; however, the funniest thing is that he actually gets requests from the audience to do some of his classic bits. Vivian and I have seen him comment on this in interviews where
he thinks it is the oddest thing.Whether he gives us a completely new show or some of the old, we are excited to get to see him again. Especially at such a big venue. Anybody that likes a good, clean comic should check him out at www.brianregan.com. He is hilarious!
