Marielle was thrilled to have been reunited with her camera. I know this because it was conveyed many times to me by my daughter. She was also very thankful that I had "fixed" her camera and that I, "had done a very good job Daddy!" If only she knew that my inability to keep a screwdriver with the batteries had kept her and her camera apart for these past few months.
After spending the afternoon snapping photos, I quickly downloaded them to the computer so that I could upload them to the blog for you all to see as I had promised ... eight months ago. Here is the part I was most excited to share. Check out the point of view. It had never dawned on me how different our children's view of the world is from ours. And I mean from a geometric/height standpoint as opposed to a philosophical standpoint. Despite the fact that I look down to talk to her, it never sunk in that they spend all of their time looking up to us. Not only for guidance, but literally. It was a real eye opener for me.

Never thought about that before!
We forget so quickly what it's like to be young.
Let's hire her!
