Philosophical Question

If a man gets a haircut, and nobody notices, did he get his hair cut?

Well, I know I got my haircut, but no one else seems to realize this. I suppose “realize” might be a bit presumptious – perhaps they are simply not saying anything. At this point, I guess that either 1) I’m an idiot for thinking that the average friend and/or coworker looks at or even cares about the state of my hair on a daily basis, 2) my haircut isn’t really that great and no one wants to draw attention to it, or even worse 3) there’s a giant chunk of hair missing on the back of my head from when the stylist sneezed during my haircut, and no one wants to draw attention to that.

It’s probably no. 1 which means I need to just get over myself.
